Contemporary entertaining garden – North West Leicestershire

The brief was to design a highly contemporary space with a ‘wow’ factor whilst ensuring it will sit harmoniously with the surrounding landscape of Charnwood Forest. The design extends to a sleek paved porcelain terrace, two composite decks, rendered white walls with black basalt copings, sophisticated lighting and a 30m curving retaining wall in slate with a 3m water cascade down one section of it. The hard landscaping is softened by natural and fluid planting and clipped box and yew.  The project began in March 2015 and continues.
